Local Tax Revenue in West Jakarta Touches 44.63 Percent

The West Jakarta Regional Revenue and Retribution Agency (Suban PRD) keeps optimizing local tax revenues. It was recorded that from January to June 30, 2023, local tax revenues in West Jakarta reached Rp 3,365,589,653,943 or 44.63 percent of the target set.

We're optimistic that the tax revenue target can be achieved

West Jakarta Suban PRD Head, Rusdian Permana stated the target for West Jakarta regional tax revenues in 2023 was Rp 7,540,622,067,000.

The target is obtained from 11 types of taxes, namely Entertainment Tax, Vehicle Ownership Transfer Fees (BBN-KB), Land and Building Rights Acquisition Tax (BPHTB), Hotel Tax, Parking Tax, Groundwater Tax (PAT), Motor Vehicle Fuel Tax (PBB-KB), Urban and Rural Land and Building Tax (PBB-P2), Motor Vehicle Tax (PKB), as well as Advertising and Restaurant Tax.

"From the target set until June 30, Rp 3,365,589,653,943 has been realized or has reached 44.63 percent," he expressed, Tuesday (7/25).

As for the 11 types of taxes, the three types of taxes that realized the most revenue during that period were PKB taxes by Rp 961,934,885,050 or had reached 45.94 percent of the target by Rp 2,094,020,100,000.

Then PBB-P2 by Rp 755,865,111,862 or 55.48 percent of the target by Rp 1,362,404,460,000, and BBN-KB Tax by Rp 620,730,471,700 or 46.85 percent of the target by Rp 1,324,970,000,000.

He explained the efforts made in the context of achieving the realization of tax revenues, namely by collecting data and determining new tax objects, collecting tax receivables, cooperation in the context of collecting regional taxes such as with mayors, sub-district heads, and village heads, especially related to PBB-P2.

Then an increase in online-based application systems in service and an increase in supervision and delivery of information to taxpayers about the existence of regulations that can encourage taxpayers to pay taxes.

"Until the end of the year, we're optimistic that the tax revenue target can be achieved," he stated.
